where would we choose?
<Underwater> is a work conceived during the process of researching about it. I wanted to express what would happen if sound transmitted through the air had water as its medium, and what perspective humans would take on it, based on underwater recordings in various places in the Jeju sea and field recordings in environments with different spatialities related to water that I started during the WeSA Jeju residency. The recorded sounds are controlled in different ways by various other data from the Jeju sea, and the data is then unfolded into visual elements. <Underwater>, vividly presented live by the time controlled by the two sound artists, presents the audience with an auditory and visual journey into the deep sea.
