The dictionary meaning of 'live' is "a state in which a performance, performance, broadcast, etc. is not recorded or recorded, but is performed or performed on the spot." I think the concept of‘ untact’ , which appeared around the time when‘ live’ through a video platform was more familiar to millennials, is enough to redefine its dictionary meaning. In this work, I try to have a narrative that suggests a new dictionary meaning of 'live'. Starting with city noise in Germany and Seoul, they are converted into electric signals through the modular synth and become waveforms, which create rhythms, and the percussion instruments receive and play them before becoming electric signals again. In the end, the signals will be received and transformed by the Sound Map (a program that can listen to city noise from around the world in real time), and they will flow back to the rhythm played by the percussion instruments. Confused but arranged, and closed but open music is the new format of 'live' that this work wants to show.
